Le Poeme De L’Angle Droit:

“I conceived and created” Le Poeme De L’Angle Droit. “Although the expression of this book is obscure, it may be very close to the core of Cobb’s thought. At that time, the existentialism of German philosopher Heidegger was beginning to prevail, and “poetry” was being raised to an unprecedented height, representing the “authenticity” of existence. Heidegger believes that the meaning of existence is not fixed and eternal, but eclectic and present. Being is associated with the being, so it is perceptual, intuitive, and changes at any time. Therefore, to express existence, we need to have this special language-poetry. Therefore, in Heidegger’s philosophy, the real language is poetry, which allows people to “find their way back” and return to their true nature. Heidegger’s architectural philosophy is explained in his famous article “Building, Living, Thinking”, and his most well-known point is “people, living in poetry”.

Ronchamp Chapel

The design work of Ronchamp Chapel shows the conceptual transformation of contemporary Chinese sculpture to architecture. In the process of its efforts to transform and escape the shackles of historical style, architecture and other visual arts share an abstract journey. Through continuous practice and application, it breaks through traditional forms and incorporates new concepts and new designs into architectural design. He advocates the pure connotation and spirit through the abstraction of pure geometric figures, abandons any form of specific elements, opposes the pursuit of particularity, does not support individuality, and is fully committed to the performance of the pure spiritual field common to mankind. Therefore, based on the geometric shape without any specific elements, combined with abstract lines and basic simple color methods, it formed a unique expression content.

The building perfectly demonstrates the three-dimensional transformation of paintings. It is not difficult to find the most concise geometric basic elements applied in the building through the observation of the appearance of the building, as well as the horizontal and vertical lines together.

The space of Ronchamp Church has very distinctive female characteristics. Professor Samuel pointed out that the design of the Ronchamp chapel implied the statement that “the voice of God conceived her through Mary’s ear” 12. Therefore, the process that the light enters from the side window on the tower, is rendered by the red inner wall and enters the interior of the church has a spiritual meaning.

Pablo Picasso

What make me impressive recently, it is Pablo Picasso’s artwork. From Jan. to now, I visited several galleries in London and Paris which including Picasso and Paper, Dora Maar and Picasso, LV exhibition. And there are lots of artworks of him.

At first, I just surprised his talent and imgnation that why he can drew so special and magnificiant. After I saw some information and more understand his painting, I just so curious about his personality, mind and life.

So I started to do some research about him. And right now I focus on his blue period when he was pretty depressive.

I don’t think he has depression. He just sank into a severe depression and blue tones began to dominate his paintings. Also art therapy and paintings can be a real help in treating depression and make him more creative.

A creative person experiences the order and structure that others find comforting as inhibiting and even suffocating… he feels the need to escape into a richer and more nuanced ‘borderless grey.’ The freedom that he finds in this limbo enables him to enter into periods of intense concentration and focus akin to a trance or hypomanic episode. Such periods are characterized by heightened consciousness, frenzied activity, and intense productivity and are the hallmark of the creative process.

The Exhibition Journal—Le Corbusier

Art covers a wide range of subjects and forms, from ideological literature to two-dimensional painting to three-dimensional sculpture and even four-dimensional space design.

However, no matter how it is presented, it happens to convey the story that the creator, the so-called artist, wants to tell. The reason why we classify design as an art is that it is also constantly expressing and conveying the designer’s thoughts and emotions.People like to name cities and buildings in literature, paintings, movies and other works.

Corbusier himself resented the critics’ division into the camp of various doctrines. He once wrote in his letters that “people tend to stereotype the image of a creator or an artist”.

When I saw le corbusier’s paintings and furniture exhibitions, I saw his unparalleled artistic talent and creativity endowed by god in various art fields, including architectural design, planning and design, literary writing, painting, sculpture, furniture design…It is more accurate to say that he is not only an architect, but an artist. He emphasized the artistry of architecture and believed that an architect should not be an engineer but an artist.

Paris Trip Review: About the artists

I saw lots of drawing and design in the galleries in Paris. Most of artworks are impressed me extremly. Because I learned them since I was in high school and I was so surpurised that one day I can closed to them.

Le Corbusier

Drawing inspiration from nature, le corbusier finally settled memory and feeling in abstract form on the canvas of his studio in Paris. In fact, le corbusier’s painting is the important way to understand his architectural concept, curve shape of those abstract paintings, also found in his buildings.

And After that , I drew so sketching mainly inprised from him and Pacasso. I don’t know if I understand their emotion and mind. I just deconstructed my daily life and emotion into the painting.

Review Paris Trip

I was pleasently surprised to meet the art that had beed put on the altar. I saw the refugees from the 10 districts in disarry. It is not out of reach in the books, and it is not out of reach in the news.

As I watched the movie < midnight in Paris>. If the director want to express that if relying on the past is hide the reality?

Nostalgia is the film to convey the meaning of the tip of the iceberg. Woody Allen’s film is a lament for the era of the stars and, more importantly, a nostalgia for a noble spirit that will never return. It is difficult to reach the classic again, maybe it’s not that we don’t have the ability, but we the people no longer sure that we can create our own “golden age.

巴黎午夜-启发旅行电影

I always thinking about the streets, artists, actors, litterateurs in Paris. Induling the dusk and midnight. It might be purer than my imagnation.

And when I face it, I’m in the clouds.
Seeing the misty twilight of the tipsy
Hearing the sigh of the crowd, the sadness of the wind.

What a lucky day, I running in the rain when I leave Paris.

Architecture and Film3

Narrative interpretation of image architecture

When taking about the theme narrative, I want to mention the “frame” in the movie. “This multiple view point frame-view method is a film method.” Le Corbusier is an architect who knows how to transform architecture into motion. ” Giuliana Bruno said, “He added a lot of long strip windows to the design so that as you travel, a series of panoramas will unfold before your eyes. From the ramp he designed, you can see that this is a building designed for walking experience. This building and film generally link the visual and spatial arts-thus it is perfect physically, mentally, philosophically, theoretically and practically. “

“In Columbus” is a movie that rarely re-recognizes the charm of “architecture”. This charm has been obscured by “space” in the history of cinema. At least since Antonioni discovered the “space” of the film, the spirit of architecture The rhyme faded. Why is the scene shown in “Columbus” an architecture, not a space? Isn’t there anyone in the movie? The reason is that it places the camera on the outside of the building and presents the building in a flat form, so that the image can only act on the eyes of the viewer for reading; rather than being involved in the space as it is in the space Among them, he was forced to use his senses to experience.

Formally drawing on the relationship between the immaterial and material aspects of the film’s picture space and the carrying screen space, French master architect Jean Nouvel successfully “hidden” the building. People tend to pay more attention to the skin or visual content of the building and ignore its existence: details, colors. Levels, materials, image projection, reflection, refraction, projection, etc., all of these-all become the picture constituent elements of this architectural “movie”. They are combined together to form an image, and the screen itself seems to cease to exist temporarily in the consciousness of the viewer’s material world. People seem to have long forgotten the material space on which this virtual immaterial image must be carried when watching architectural movies, just like the reality of dreams in the movie “The Empire of Hackers” The argument is the same: Illusion replaces reality, and reality disappears.

The image is just a part of the film space. The space of a film is much more complicated than its image. It is a cross-complex of material space and image space and screen space. It is both physical and virtual. Therefore, the film space first has the composite of virtual and real intersection. This feature of the screen’s material existence and the overlap of immaterial images, then we see another possibility, that is, architecture becomes immaterial when it is expressed in the film. You can also use your own physical entity to provide a skin or surface that is similar to ingestion or presentation of images (it can present visual depth like a mirror or movie picture) to achieve the visual and psychological partial elimination of its physical entities. hidden”.

Modernism Design

In the 1920s, a group of advanced European designers and architects formed a powerful group to promote the so-called new building movement. The contents of the movement are very complex, including the spiritual and ideological reform democratic tendency and socialist tendency of design, as well as the technological progress, especially the new materials reinforced concrete, flat glass The use of steel; the new form – against any simple geometric form of decoration, advocating functionalism, thus breaking the position and principle of thousands of years of design for the service of dignitaries, and breaking the tradition of thousands of years of building completely attached to wood, stone, brick and tile. Because Bauhaus’s free and avant-garde idea of running a school was not allowed by the Nazis, his school site had been relocated three times. In 1933, the Nazi government of Germany ordered the closure of Bauhaus.

A design trend
If we only understand “Bauhaus” as a German word, a design school, it would be too narrow. At present, what we call “Bauhaus” mostly refers to a kind of design trend, design system, or “Bauhaus doctrine”.

It is derived from the idea of Bauhaus school, which has a profound impact on the architecture and design industry. Its design theory can be summed up in three points: · the new unity of art and Technology (industrial production) · the purpose of design is human rather than product (functionality) · the design should follow the natural law (breaking the monopoly of power and authority). * Note: the brackets are only for the author’s understanding, welcome to leave a message and discuss.
