We are building a massive walk-through food adventure called The Complete History of Food. It’s a bit like a Disneyland ride where you are fed michelin quality food. As you move through the building you go further back in time, eat, drink, and have stuff happen to you.

It was a public realm intervention that combined food and architecture, featuring a food-for-food exchange organism.  everyone was a maker, a fundamental cog of the food system.

eveloping a set of prototypes for this network to be tested in three select sites along the proposed regional network. Each of the selected sites offers a unique ecological, or traditional arctic diet, opportunity – as well as a specific condition in terms of siting relative to aquatic and terrestrial proximities.

The Carnival Table

The Carnival period is widely considered to be a time for feasting, which was the straightforward inspiration behind The Carnival Table. However, in much the same way that the traditional festivities are considered to be a time of transformation so too is the table itself.

I saw the precedent that Lucy gave, the design become modeled that they can be duplicateed in other places. Besides, they consider the social phenomenon and give a new ,clear expression .For example Ridley’s worked within the market’s existing infrastructure to negotiate its social and economic contingencies, and “producer” and “consumer” were gived way to new roles: everyone was a maker, a part of the food system.

Aslo consider the history of food. It’s a bit like a Disneyland ride where you are fed michelin quality food. As you move through the building you go further back in time, eat, drink, and have stuff happen to you.

Apart from this, we can consider a theme that we are familiar with our life ,like most of the young person are pretty lazy nowadays,so that they love take out food ,instant noodles, as much simply as they love. The reason is we may busy for work ,study ,hate to do housework, and have not enough time to cook a complex and difficult meal.

Thus, I searched the food photos and precedents. The complexities of structural forces and creation of spatial relationships is achieved at the scale of household objects.

What is food

Food: Bigger than the Plate at the V&A

The show explores what food means to society, beyond its basic role as fuel, and is showcasing an edible water bottle, too.

Split into four, curatorial sections – visible by a change in aesthetic as people pass through the space – of “compost”, “farming”, “trading” and “eating”, the exhibition takes visitors on a journey of the food cycle, from producing and reusing waste, to growing food, transporting it, to the final product being delivered as a meal.
